March has been a very busy month for us here at Thrive!
So what have our nurseries been up to?
To kick off the month we started with..
At Happitots Boddam, our wonderful children and staff brought the magic of books to life for world book day and finished off the day with a trip out to Boddam Library. A real fairytale day at nursery!
Spring is finally arriving soon on the 20th! At Musselburgh Nature Kindergarten, our preschool children went out on a Spring hunt walk where they walked around Musselburgh looking for daffodils, blossom on trees, flower shoots and bees and then took some of their findings back to the nursery to draw and explore with.
At Holyrood Salford, our nursery opened its doors to welcome a stay and play exclusively for Mums and their little ones! They enjoyed quality time together with petal sensory play. decorations, cakes and an afternoon tea together.
At Corner House The Grange, our wonderful Laura got in her pyjamas and in the fundraising spirit – taking a few soggy sponges for Comic Relief. Our little ones enjoyed doing their bit for the cause with the sponge. Definitely more than Laura did!
At Benison Nursery, our wonderful team got together to raise some funds for World Down Syndrome Day. We are supported alongside Daisy who attends our nursery by Down Syndrome Cheshire and our little ones and wonderful team made in the cookery school some gingerbread men which were sold and all the children were encouraged to wear odd socks – and rock them for some extra pennies toward the cause. They managed to raise a fantastic £102.76 for Down Syndrome Cheshire. Thank you for the tasty treats and all your fantastic work!
