Your Local Nursery in Perth

At Corner House Nursery Perth, we aim to nurture, care for and inspire each and every child in our care whilst recognising and celebrating each child’s individuality. We are passionate about delivering high-quality early learning and childcare and strongly believe in active learning, learning through play and hands-on experiences of exploring, investigating, creating and experimenting.

This concept is at the core of our ethos here at Corner House Nursery Perth. Within each of our three rooms we offer a warm, welcoming and enabling environment. We’ve recently, after discussions and input from our children, parents and practitioners have changed our 3 rooms names. For our babies its the Blossom Room, Toddlers is now the Willow room and our Preschoolers is now The Oak Room! These rooms do belong to our families and children and their connections to these spaces.

Each child is nurtured and supported in their journey to becoming happy, confident, independent learners, reaching their full potential in all aspects of growth and development. The nursery space is carefully planned to provide a wide range of play and learning experiences and opportunities to stimulate inquisitive little minds. We are ideally situated to also serve families from the nearby communities, such as Kinnoul and Scone.

Day Nurseries Reviews

What Parents Say About Our Nursery

‘My daughter has been at the nursery in the 2-3 room for almost a year now and absolutely loves it. She has grown so much in confidence and really enjoys the variety of activities and brilliant garden facilities. She has made friends and is excited to see them and the nursery staff each morning when
she goes.
All staff including management are so approachable and knowledgeable about my daughter. I feel very safe in the knowledge she is well cared for and has lots of fun while at nursery.’

Jill M

I feel our daughter has a great learning experience at Paint Pots (now Corner House Nursery Perth) Nursery. She is always very happy to go and sometimes even looks sad to be leaving! Visits to the local nursing home are something she loves as well as doing French lessons which she looks forward to. We have watched her become a confident little girl and it is our belief [Corner House Nursery Perth] has had a huge part in this. She loves talking about her current topic and singing all the new songs she’s learnt. We think it’s great that they are taught so much about caring for the environment and learning about recycling and growing fruit, veg and plants. All the staff are lovely and all seem to genuinely care for and have an interest in the children in their care. Highly recommended!

Outdoor Discovery: Growing, Learning, and Playing in Nature

In our outdoor play area, there are opportunities for every child to be whatever they want to be. Any time, any day. We don’t keep our children indoors just because of the weather. Wrapped up warm or sun-screened, we’re always ready for fun outside.

Here at Corner House Perth, we have our 0-2 children out in the fresh air in all weathers and offer our 3-5’s free flow between indoors and outdoors. We feel these opportunities open up the chance for our growing children to make their own decisions about how and where they spend their days – another life skill that will stay with them always.

When we’re not out walking, we’ve created a space that lets our children enjoy the moment. Whether they want to plant, build, explore, or just make a great big splash, they’ll find the opportunity here. They won’t know it, but while they’re having a brilliant time, our children are discovering life skills. As well as this, they’ll make choices about what they do and how they do it. Learning to care about their environment will be important for them as well as enjoying the delights of working alone and with friends on a common cause. We always have staff on hand to help, teach and protect our youngsters as they play in our outside areas.

Thrive Childcare and Education is committed to being environmentally friendly, making changes wherever we can in order to make the world a cleaner place! We are a registered ECO-Nursery and are committed to teach our children about their environment and the effect we have on it in our day to day lives.
