Day Nurseries Reviews

What Parents Say About Our Nursery

‘My little boy started at Culcheth Day Nursery four months ago and ever since he started he has thrived. His confidence is growing each and every day. The staff are so kind and caring, he is so excited to see them each morning. He especially loves playing outdoors and exploring the ‘real-life’ resources in his room. Thank you for everything Culcheth Day Nursery.’

C S

Both my daughters have attended Culcheth day nursery since they were 8months old- our youngest is still there and thoroughly enjoys it. My eldest daughter is now at primary school but attends both the breakfast care & link club provided by the nursery & comes home each day telling me about all the exciting activities that she has been involved in even complaining on the days that she doesn’t attend or if I pick her up early. The love and care that the staff give to each child that attends is why I’d highly recommend this nursery/link club.

Outdoor Discovery: Growing, Learning, and Playing in Nature

We love to get outside at Thrive Culcheth! We have substantial gardens providing opportunities for outdoor learning across all areas of the curriculum.

As well as access to our fabulous outdoor play areas, children of all ages enjoy regular walks in the local area. We take children out in groups, come rain or shine, to take part in a variety of activities set up by our staff.

Wherever possible we try to take our indoor learning outside. During our time outside we teach children how to assess risk, problem solve, share, gather and utilise from nature.

Our youngest children are often seen out in our triple buggies enjoying the fresh air, sights and sounds of the local community. We use high visibility vests to keep children safe when out on trips away from the nursery. All children leave wellington boots and waterproof clothing at nursery so they can be appropriately dressed for all seasons!

We are committed to being an environmentally friendly nursery, making changes wherever we can in order to make the world a cleaner place! We are committed to teach our children about their environment and the effect we have on it in our day to day lives.
