Thrive Childcare and Education have been celebrating Easter with a variety of different activities across sites!

Across the Thrive Childcare and Education sites in England and Scotland, our teams had great fun taking part in activities in the run-up to Easter. These include Easter egg painting, Easter egg hunts, Easter bonnet hat making and more…

At our Happitots Boddam nursery, staff within the 3-5 room set up a provocation in the tuft tray for the children to explore!
One of the children in the room expressed their interest of their own farm and their new lambs, in which they named them after their nursery friends. The children engaged in a conversation about the childs farm, discussing the different animals they have.

At our Happitots Greenock site, the children had great fun starting the week with Easter activities, including being creative painting eggs.

In our Happitots Inverkip nursery there were some amazing entries for the their Easter bonnet competition!

Happitots Thornliebank also got in on the act with their Amazing Easter Bonnets!

Corner House Banchory nursery wishes everyone a happy Easter from everyone in their ‘puffins’ room. They got up to all kinds of activities from Easter egg hunts to decorating their own eggs; the puffins have had a great time exploring Easter and all the fun that comes along with it.

The Robins have had an egg-celent week in the run up to easter! They took part in an Easter egg hunt and had a cracking time decorating their eggs, they then went for a walk and rolled them down a hill! They also took part in other Easter themed activities such as painting with stamps and exploring different textures in the tuff tray!
All the staff hope you have an amazing long weekend and the Easter bunny spoils you!

The Ducklings too have been doing some Easter activities. They have decorated big eggs for the wall and some real eggs for rolling. Happy Easter from the Ducklings!

All the staff hope you have an amazing long weekend and the Easter bunny spoils you!

At Holyrood Princes Dock they loved seeing their tree fill up with the children’s ‘decorated at home’ eggs. Not only was it nice seeing the children’s faces as they hung them on the tree, they know that when home life and nursery life connect it has a positive impact on their children’s learning.

They also enjoyed a wonderful Easter Bonnet Parade. It was also so good to welcome the parents back in for an event.

Salford

At Holyrood Salford, they had a special visitor at the nursery today. The Easter Bunny bought some gifts for all!

At Holyrood Shaw there was an Easter craft competition.

They loved seeing everyone create Easter crafts, they were all amazing.

Pre-schoolers also had so much fun on their egg hunt!

Thrive Childcare and Education would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter!
