Happitots Nursery Bishopbriggs is situated in a quiet cul de sac in the heart of Bishopbriggs, Glasgow. Our nursery is beautifully designed and finished to an exceptionally high standard creating a warm and homely atmosphere. Happitots Nursery Bishopbriggs is in an ideal location for commuters, with quick links to the motorway system and only 10 minutes walking distance from Bishopbriggs Train Station. Our nursery also benefits from ample on-street parking allowing for easy drop-offs and collections. Our nursery has spacious, bright areas dedicated to each stage of development from 12 weeks to 5 years of age. We provide childcare from 8:00 am – 6 pm and are open all year round except for Christmas and New Year. Our nursery is easily accessible for disabled people.

My name is Joanne Middleton I have 30 years of experience within childcare, 15 years within management. I have developed skills and experience over my career within childcare. I qualified in 1992 as an NNEB at the Glasgow College of Nautical Studies. In 2013 I gained my SVQ level 4, I achieved this through Experiential Play expanding my personal development. I gained my PDA level 9 in Childhood Practice in June 2019 at Langside College. I have a consistent track record of successfully implementing best childcare practices, that improves effective delivery of childcare experiences whilst motivating and supporting staff teams. My aim is to empower the childcare team in meeting their personal development ambitions, encouraging, and supporting them to provide the best for every child

Outdoors and Nature

We love to get outside at Happitots Bishopbriggs! We have separate outdoor play areas for each age group, which provide all our children with opportunities to get fresh air and have fun in a safe and secure environment. All of our outdoor areas are well resources with quality outdoor toys and equipment, suited for all ages. From planting and growing to outdoor arts and crafts, investigating nature to mud kitchens, bug houses to obstacle courses, children find opportunities to get fresh air and have fun in a safe and secure area. As well as access to our fabulous outdoor play areas, children of all ages enjoy regular walks in the local area. Our youngest children are often seen out in our double buggies enjoying the fresh air, sights and sounds of the local community. We use Walkodile Child Safety Systems and high visibility vests to keep children safe when out on trips away from the nursery

We are committed to being an environmentally friendly nursery, making changes wherever we can in order to make the world a cleaner place! We are a registered ECO-Nursery and are committed to teach our children about their environment and the effect we have on it in our day to day lives.
